Francesco Mattei

ABOUT

I’m Francesco Mattei, an Italian guitarist, composer, producer, mixing and mastering engineer with an international career in progressive metal, rock and cinematic music.

As founder, guitarist and composer of Noveria, I’ve performed on international stages including ProgPower USA and Evoken Fest Tokyo, while my work as a musician and studio professional has been featured on releases for labels such as AFM Records, Frontiers Music, Scarlet Records, Rockshots Records, and many others.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working and collaborating with internationally renowned artists including Fabio Lione, Russell Allen, Edu Falaschi, Joel Hoekstra, Kee Marcello, Mark Boals, Mike Moran, Mistheria and John Macaluso.

Beyond performing and production, I’ve spent years developing artists and musicians through music education. I previously served as CEO of VDM Music School in Rome and currently head Underworld Studio and Sabina Rock School, bringing together production, performance, education and artist development.

From the first idea to the final master, my approach remains the same: to create powerful, distinctive music where technique always serves emotion. And when I produce your album, I become an added member of the band, combining my vision with yours to make the strongest record possible.
